Bitter Ghana

Unwillingly, here is what happened in Ghana:

Soon after I left the landlord gave the flat - by breaking out into it was I told - to a lady, packing my things away. That's what my colleagues found out when they went there to collect Oxfam's properties and mine. In addition, the mobile phone was missing in the box I brought to the cleaner before going to the airport. My word against his. If I have a witness, he has got his family and colleagues' support. Fortunately, I hope, I can still rely on the Country Programme Manager to act. She is my last chance but I fear that (landlord) crook-thief-bastard has already sold all my clothes, books, etc. I'm disgusted. Roted Ghanaian? Desperately corrupted for sure!

U see, i'm a ghanaian! To qualify the unfortunate experience with your landlord as corruption or dishonesty is understandable but to go to the point of saying the whole country is desperately corrupt? Not to escape the problem of corruption which is very much alive, I bet u met more honest people in Ghana than corrupt!!

Hey bilingual anonymous Ghanaian!

I think you should read again to see that I don't describe all Ghanaians as crooks. If I had such a bad feeling about Ghana as a country and people I would not have lived almost one more year here.

Take care

i think the reporter of bitter Ghana should have mention that landlords name so the whole would him.because in every society there are good and bad people.there are highly more good people than bad in Ghana. sorry the person fell int the hands of a bad person. Goother parts of the worls like AFGANISTAN, IRAQ,SAUDI ARABIA, PAKISTAN,BRAZIL AND SEE WHETHER WHAT THAT SILLY NUT ENJOYED IN GHANA COULD BE FOUND THERE.
