Shoemaker at night

Shoemakers, many itinerant, are plenty around Accra. At first, I saw those men walking while hitting a wooden box, wondering what their role was. Then, my neighbour told me that they are considered as a particularly deprived working category of people. I even think that there exists a celebration day for them. They can be very useful, given the bad state of roads for footwear.
